Organizing DNI
To state the obvious, we are a new group. A serious Project for us is building up our organization. We look forward to all of you bringing your passion, commitment and ideas to our weekly Zoom meetings. It may not always go smoothly, but we will build a powerful vehicle for change in Del Norte. One Million Trained
National Indivisible has set a goal of training one million people in a specific area of nonviolence – understanding how to strategically and tactically challenge the pillars of support that maintain an authoritarian. Sound interesting??? Learn more HERE.

Training Opportunities
It’s fun to show up to a protest. It’s serious. We know there are lots of serious issues and it’s those issues that motivate us to come out. But it’s kinda fun too.
But we need to get serious about our situation. Things are changing. Los Angeles was a test case. Somewhere between 70-80% of Americans hated what Trump did there.
Trump was thrilled.
It may have escaped your notice, but in his declaration of emergency where he federalized the National Guard, he did so without making it specific to California or immigration. This means he has the ability to activate the National Guard in any state, at any time for pretty much any reason.
Also, in the Bullshit Billionaires Bailout Bill with all the talk of Medicaid and Medicare you might have missed the line item for 150 Billion (yes, Billion) for I.C.E. (and related services). This includes 10,000 new ICE agents and will, by budget, create the third largest military type force IN THE WORLD.
My friends, Trump now has his very own Gestapo.
It is extremely important for all of us to prepare for the new challenges that are likely to confront us as this new reality is rolled out around the country in the coming months.
Remember that it is normal (like King and Gandhi did before) to train members for months and sometimes longer in order to be ready to face the forces that would confront them.
We too need to look our hopes and fears clearly in the face and move forward together in solidarity and confidence that we can and will bring this wannabe tyrant and his enablers to their rightful retirement behind bars.
