Yes, you read that right – every Thursday at 7 DNI will have a online Zoom meeting and everyone is invited. We know how energized you are because of everything that is going on.
And… NO! These are not meetings for the sake of just having another da#n meeting. As you will see from the Projects section below (and Events too) there are lots of opportunities for all of us to be involved in making a difference. And the only real way to move a large group (and that is what we are rapidly becoming) in a steady forward direction is to keep talking and working together.
So these will be informational and working meetings – and social too. We will go into some detail about the Projects that are available so that you can choose where to put your energy. No one person can do it all. Once we begin to get a sense of who wants to do what, we will form into working groups (here comes the social part). Ideally there will be enough people interested in the various projects that the working groups can begin to take on a life of their own and use the weekly meetings to check in and talk about their progress, needs, questions and so on.
That’s the rough idea so far anyhow. No doubt it will evolve.
But it starts with coming together and sharing our energy and passion. Take a look at the Projects listed below and come with your own ideas as well.
