Our Representative in the House
Del Norte County is in the Second Congressional District of California (“CA-02”), which extends from Marin County to the Oregon boarder. Congressional Representatives are elected for two year terms.

Del Norte County is Represented in the California Legislature
by a State Senator and a State Assemblyman
They serve under the rules of term limits as voted by the people of California. Our Senator will “term out” in 2026.
Both members serve CA district 02 which is very similar to, but not exactly the same as the Congressional district 02.
